My Story

About me

“Embrace who you really are, and you will have the strength to walk it.”

This idea has always lived deep in my gut. From the day I first picked up tools on my parents’ farm to the moment I began building websites, I just knew this was the path for me.

Choosing digital tools and website building wasn’t just a career switch—it felt like embracing my true self and the unique combination of skills I bring.

Hi, I’m Jurgis Rokis. I live in Riga, the capital of Latvia. I help beginners and busy business owners choose simple, effective digital tools that save time and reduce stress. My goal is clear: keep things clean, practical, and easy to follow—no fluff.

From Farm Life to Digital Tools

I grew up in the countryside on my parents’ farm, working with both livestock and crops. There was always a job to do and a tool to fix. That life taught me hard work, careful thinking, and finishing what I start.

We didn’t have a computer until I was 15. Learning tech later pushed me to be patient and practical. If a tool doesn’t help get the job done, it doesn’t belong in the toolbox—on the farm or online.

I later studied at the Sports Pedagogy Academy in Riga, where I learned how to coach, communicate clearly, and focus on real results—skills I now use to teach digital tools in simple steps.

Building With Hands, Then Building Online

After a health pause from studies, I became an apprentice roofer on flat roofs and quickly grew into a professional. I also learned carpentry and worked for 15 years—both in Latvia and abroad in London, Dublin, Amsterdam, and Reykjavik. That work demanded precision, safety, and reliable systems. The same rules guide my digital work today.

During those years, I became deeply interested in technology, design, and how people make decisions. I taught myself web basics, marketing, and modern tools. WordPress, Shopify, Elementor, Canva, Figma, and AI became my new toolkit. To me, a good website is like a solid roof: it must be clean, strong, and built the right way.

Build Smart, Work Easier

Years of roofing and carpentry taught me to measure twice, keep things simple, and build for real life.

Now I bring the same mindset to websites and digital tools—clean structure, reliable performance, and steps anyone can follow.

If a tool doesn’t save time or make work easier, it’s out.

What I Do Now

I create straightforward guides, reviews, and tutorials to help beginners and early‑intermediate users get real results with digital tools. I focus on essentials that every business needs:

Websites and hosting that are easy to manage
Clean design tools for professional‑looking pages and graphics
Simple, secure ways to sell and get paid
Practical AI that saves hours on routine work

I test tools with one question in mind: will this make everyday work faster, clearer, and more reliable?

Small business owners who want simple, dependable systems
Anyone who prefers plain language over tech jargon

If that’s you, you’ll find short, clear steps and honest advice—so you can take action today, not “someday.”

Learning practical skills that actually pay the bills
Why tools must be reliable, not just trendy
Small business owners need simplicity, not complexity

Practical first: No trends for trend’s sake—only what works
Step‑by‑step: Simple instructions you can follow without stress
Respect for time: Clean pages, short lessons, quick wins
Real‑world fit: Tools that work for one person and grow as you do
